These hands come from the maintenance worker Guo Yibo. His palm is very rough and filled with the traces of years.
Guo Yibo started his day by overhauling dozens of machines and equipment.
In recent years, Guo Yibo led the team to realize the transformation of workshop machines from "maintenance instead of repair" to "maintenance based on manufacturing", constantly carry out equipment transformation and technological innovation, and jump out of temporary repair to solve the root cause of machine failures.
In March 2019, the "Craftsman Innovation Studio" led by Guo Yibo was founded and renamed as "Guo Yibo Craftsman Innovation Studio".
"Guo Yibo Craftsman Innovation Studio" has been awarded the titles of "Guizhou Model Worker and Craftsman Talent Innovation Studio", "Zunyi Craftsman Innovation Studio", "Maotai Group Excellent Innovation Studio", etc.

Guo Yibo became very interested in maintenance when he was young. When I was in high school, I was able to deal with the problems of TV, radio, etc. During the holidays, I will continue to find a job in a maintenance shop to hone my skills through this "craft".
In 2001, Guo Yibo entered the Maotai power workshop for practice. Here, I met Mr. Jiang Jing, the monitor of the power workshop, who is a very important person in his life.
As long as someone is willing to learn and study hard, Jiang Jing will impart without reservation.
Guo Yibo soon came into Jiang Jing's vision because of his diligence and hard work, and his serious and responsible attitude in every process of equipment maintenance, maintenance and bearing maintenance.
Here, Guo Yibo learned something useful all his life.
Before the repair, Jiang Jing would ask Guo Yibo to reconstruct the equipment structure in his brain, judge the problem, and then start the repair. In spare time, draw circuit diagrams, structural diagrams, etc., and judge and analyze the possible places of faults. Let it abandon the traditional concept of "treating head and foot with headache".
A short month of internship soon came to an end. Guo Yibo didn't choose to go back to school, but paid his living expenses and applied for another two months of internship.

In July 2001, Guo Yibo officially became a maintenance worker in the music making workshop of Moutai Group. In order to enter the role as soon as possible, Guo Yibo studies hard every day and asks questions if he doesn't understand. Read a lot of relevant books in spare time, get familiar with the equipment constantly, and summarize and record problems.
Every time he overhauled the equipment, he systematically analyzed and summarized the equipment name, model, fault location, fault reason, operating procedures, and related principles.
In June 2005, Guo Yibo was transferred from the music making workshop to the packaging workshop. Compared with the bulky starter making equipment, the packaging workshop has a higher degree of automation, stronger linkage, more refined and compact equipment, and higher requirements for maintenance workers.
As a result, upon arriving at the packaging workshop, Guo Yibo quickly found out the characteristics of the equipment, taught himself machine automation courses, and studied electromechanical, electrical engineering and automation undergraduate majors, which made him more competitive with automation equipment.
At that time, the Siemens PIC program (programmable logic controller) of the instrument brought no small challenge to Guo Yibo. He could only study the equipment instructions constantly, call the manufacturer's engineers constantly, and with tenacity, he just "chewed" the program.
Guo Yibo believes that only by taking root in the front-line workshop, using your brain and hands can you create more and bring into play the greatest value, and Moutai provides a good growth opportunity for his seed.
It is important for contemporary craftsmen to be willing to work, and more important for them to be able and capable. In Guo Yibo's view, the new era needs "old scalpers", and more importantly, smart workers.
Do one line, drill one line. Since he took office, Guo Yibo has made a large number of technical achievements with great efforts.
In 2016, the jam, blocking, and reverse failures of the production line conveying system have always been a problem for Guo Yibo: he led the team to try more than 20 ways to clear the jam. However, the card box also appears irregularly. After staring at the card box, the production chain is blocked again.
Guo Yibo is well aware that this way of addressing symptoms without addressing the root causes is not feasible.
Once, Guo Yibo artificially separated two cartons at an equal distance and kept them within a suitable distance from the rest, and delivered cartons in groups of two. At this time, it was found that there was no jamming, no dumping, no blocking, and the efficiency was doubled. In an instant, an innovative inspiration came to my mind - to make a box blocking device for regular box conveying.
Do what you say. Guo Yibo led the team to set up a team to tackle key problems. After more than a month of production, programming, testing and repeated modification, a set of intelligent tank conveying system was successfully put into operation.
All of a sudden, the loss of dozens of boxes is reduced every day, the production efficiency is doubled, and tens of thousands of yuan of economic benefits can be saved for the company every year. At the same time of improving production efficiency, it also reduces the labor intensity of employees, which has been unanimously praised by packaging staff.
Since then, Guo Yibo's road of "invention" has gone further and further.
After the upgrading of the automatic packaging production line, Guo Yibo found that every production line frequently blocked bottles at the entrance of the dispenser. In addition, it will also consume a human resource to drain the bottles, which will not only break the bottles, but also affect the quality, adding additional rework workload to the team, as well as potential safety hazards.
In order to overcome the technical difficulties, Guo Yibo's innovation team actively listened to the opinions and suggestions of the team members, and personally experienced the operation skills of unblocking wine bottles with their wrists and arms.
After many attempts, the workshop "inventor" kept capturing innovative inspiration. It took me two weeks to find out the operation rule of the bottle after my wrist was sore and my arm was broken.
It took Guo Yibo two months to lead the team to complete the research and development of the automatic release device through self research, self production and self programming, and to promote it in all Maotai liquor production lines in the packaging workshop, which not only reduced the labor intensity of employees, but also eliminated potential safety hazards, which was unanimously praised by all teams. The innovation project also obtained the authorization of the State Intellectual Property Office and the "utility model patent certificate".
Innovation is the first driving force to lead development. Innovation can be "tall and tall" or "grounded". As long as you work hard, attentively and conscientiously, innovation will not be rare.
"Online Packing Comparison System", "Bottle Cap Flipping System", "500ml Guizhou Moutai Liquor Bottle Opening Tool"... batch of innovative projects have been landing in the packaging workshop.
In Guo Yibo's view, innovation is to make the work of front-line employees easier and make labor more valuable.
Guo Yibo, who sticks to ordinary posts, practices the original intention and innovative spirit of craftsmen with practical actions. Behind each invention is his ultimate pursuit of production efficiency and quality, as well as his persistence in responsibility and innovation.
On the morning of April 29, Guizhou celebrated the "May Day" International Labor Day and the Commendation Conference in Guiyang. 156 employees across the province won the May Day Labor Medal of Guizhou Province, including Guo Yibo.
Guo Yibo is deeply responsible for winning the May 1st Labor Medal of Guizhou Province this time: this heavy medal is an incentive, but also a spur. Today's honor is the driving force for him to continue to move forward. In the future, he will vigorously promote the spirit of model workers, labor and craftsman, continue to lead the way, base himself on his position, and do his best with practical actions.
