A few days ago, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Guizhou Province announced five typical cases of combating counterfeiting of agricultural materials in 2023.

1、 The case of three people including Ma Moujing producing and selling unqualified soybean meal

Ma Moujing, Ma Moucong, Zhao Mouxin and other three people added wheat bran, rice bran and other auxiliary small materials to the feed soybean meal produced by regular manufacturers for secondary sales after processing. The protein content of the product was unqualified, and they committed the crime of producing and selling fake and inferior products. In December 2023, the People's Court of Honghuagang District of Zunyi City sentenced Ma Moujing to three years and 10 months in prison and fined 250000 yuan, Ma Moucong was sentenced to 3 years and 6 months in prison, and was fined 250000 yuan. Zhao Mouxin was sentenced to 3 years in prison, suspended for 5 years, and was fined 250000 yuan.

2、 Three people including Yang produced and sold fake seeds

In September 2023, the Ceheng County People's Court sentenced Yang, He and Gan to one year and six months of imprisonment and a fine of 120000 yuan.

3、 Liu Mousheng's case of selling fake glyphosate

In October 2023, the People's Court of Ziyun County sentenced Liu Mouliang to one month of criminal detention and a fine of 40000 yuan.

4、 Liu Mouliang's case of selling fake glyphosate

Liu Mouliang bought unqualified pesticides in five batches and sold them for the second time, committing the crime of selling fake and shoddy pesticides. In November 2023, the Xingren People's Court sentenced Liu Mouliang to seven months' imprisonment, And The fine is 45000 yuan.

5、 The case of Qinmouxiang producing and selling unqualified fertilizers

In December 2022, the People's Court of Congjiang County sentenced Qin to one year and six months' imprisonment for the crime of producing and selling substandard fertilizers, And A fine of 70000 yuan will be imposed.
