"I used to be a woman director in the production brigade. Because of my active work and strong sense of responsibility, I was approved by the production brigade to join the Party in 1965. My wife (Li Zhongyao) joined the Party in 1966. After joining the Party, we became more strict with ourselves, listened to the call of the Party, and played a leading and exemplary role." Shi Shengying, an old party member in Guding Village, said.

After Li Zhongyao joined the Party, he went out to join the army. Shi Shengying shouldered all the burdens of the family, raised two young children alone, and played a "half sky" role in the position of women director.

Taking out the commemorative medal, Shi Shengying said to the reporter: "We all have more than 50 years of party age, and the country still remembers us. We feel extremely honored to get this commemorative medal. Today's good life is the concern of the party."

Li Zhongyao, with pale hair, was deaf and could not communicate with reporters. But when he heard everyone humming "No Communist Party, No New China", he held the badge in his hand, tears filled his eyes, and the crisp red song echoed in the yard for a long time.
