When he heard that the village would plant tea for 100 yuan a day, they quickly signed up. As long as the rain was not heavy, they would work hard. In addition to the people in the village, many of them were from surrounding villages, and had been planting seedlings here for two or three days in a row.

For Jiuyang Town, with the gradual progress of rural revitalization, the town has been continuously promoting the industrial development of the town for many years, making edible fungi, hook rattan, water bamboo, chao tian jiao and other industries bigger and better, so that the people have realized income increase and become rich.

However, due to the large number of people left behind by the town's low and weak labor force and the influence of the industrial employment cycle, the industrial development has encountered a bottleneck. In order to solve the problem of long-term employment of villagers, a highly labor-intensive industry is urgently needed as employment support.

In March this year, the white tea industry in Wengwang Village, Taiyong Town, Jianhe County entered the picking period. As a frontier village for the development of white tea industry in Jianhe County, Wengwang white tea has received widespread attention.

Yu Biaofeng, chairman of Songshan Longkui Tea Industry Co., Ltd., who has many years of experience in planting Anji white tea in Zhejiang Province, found that the taste and quality of the white tea planted here are better than that of Anji white tea, thanks to the geographical advantages of the village, such as high altitude, cloud and fog, and little sunshine.

After testing, its amino acid content is 6 percentage points higher than that of Anji white tea, and 18 days earlier than that of Anji white tea. This is a big business opportunity for Yu Biaofeng, but Wengwang white tea industry has been saturated, so it is difficult to find the same geographical environment?

Since the geographical environment of Jiuyang Town is similar to Wengwang Village, the party committee and government of Jiuyang Town seized the opportunity to set up a special class for white tea industry after learning about this. First of all, they carried out a large number of field investigations, visited Liping, Danzhai, Leishan and other mature white tea industry bases to learn experience, hoping to replicate the successful experience of Wengwang Village and open the industry bottleneck.

Later, the town contacted Yu Biaofeng and invited him to come to Jiuyang Town for field investigation. Yu Biaofeng was surprised that the climate environment of the town was almost the same as Wengwang Village. At the same time, he saw the simplicity of the local people and the hope of development.

Yu Biaofeng provided technology, tea sources, etc. Jiuyang Town was responsible for coordinating the employment, land use and other issues, and realized the win-win situation of three parties with the benefit model of "company+cooperatives+farmers". "Our long-term plan is to make a leading demonstration first, and then encourage the villagers to join in, cultivate the villagers' tea planting technology, let them use their own land to develop white tea, so as to further increase income and become rich," said Yang Fangfu, deputy secretary of the town party committee and mayor of the town.

Due to convenient transportation, good natural conditions and good industrial development foundation during poverty alleviation, Jiyou Village has become the best choice for the first phase of white tea demonstration planting site in Jiuyang Town.

"We mainly introduce two varieties, Anji White Tea White Leaf No. 1 and Golden Bud, which are very suitable for the climate conditions we have long admired." Zhang Bangde, a shareholder of Jianhe Hanming Tea Industry Co., Ltd., said that the main task now is to raise seedlings. Using 12 mu of Jiyou Village to cultivate 3.7 million white tea seedlings, which can meet the demand of 1300 mu of tea mountain, It can be transplanted in December this year.

He said that in the past, most tea seedlings were introduced from Zhejiang for planting, but through local seedling cultivation, first, it can save costs and drive employment; Second, it can make tea seedlings adapt to the local environment faster and improve the survival rate of tea seedlings; Third, it can expand the popularity of white tea in Jiuyang Town, so that people have confidence in the development of white tea industry.

Now, Jiuyang Town has preliminarily planned to develop the first phase of the white tea industrial base in Jiyou Village, covering an area of 450 mu. It is estimated that the annual output of fresh tea will be more than 18000 jin and the output value will be more than 1.6 million yuan in the productive period, which will steadily drive the employment and income of more than 500 people around the town all the year round.

"Now, just pruning and seedling raising, we need more than 450 people every day, and the subsequent seedling raising and weeding and fertilization after transplanting also need people, which is a very long-term process and continues to drive people's income," said Zhang Bangde.

In the next step, Jiuyang Town also plans to spread the white tea industry to Jiudui, Jiuji, Jianfeng, Danghao and other villages in the town, open up the industrial road network, and then it is expected to develop to the scale of 800 mu, so as to ensure the effective income increase of the village collective economy, further drive the income increase of the masses, and boost the rural revitalization.
