New urbanization is the key "one urbanization" of Guizhou's main strategy of focusing on "four modernizations" around the "four new". It has new significance in this year's economic and social development situation. We must work hard to achieve results.

In the process of relocation, 1.92 million farmers in our province became new citizens, and Guizhou became the province with the largest scale and the highest proportion of centralized urbanization resettlement in China. People are the core and purpose of urbanization, and Guizhou needs to focus on "three 1 million" to promote new urbanization. There is no policy opportunity such as relocation for poverty alleviation in other places, and it is much more difficult than before to promote rural population agglomeration in cities. In addition, the integration of industry and city is also needed to consolidate and expand the results of relocation for poverty alleviation. It can be said that new urbanization has a long way to go.

Urbanization is the only way to modernization, which is conducive to releasing the huge potential of domestic demand, breaking the urban-rural dual structure, and promoting social equity and common prosperity. It is necessary to continue to optimize the urban spatial pattern of "a group of three belts", deeply implement the action of "strengthening the provincial capital", make good use of 40 policies and measures to support the high-quality development of county economy, promote the integrated development of industry and city, and tap the domestic demand potential of new urbanization.
