On March 5, we ushered in another spring of learning from Lei Feng. Lei Feng is a model of the times, and the spirit of Lei Feng is eternal. "Lei Feng" is not only a personal name in history books, but also a synonym for quality and action. As a front-line cadre at the grass-roots level, in the face of new situations and new requirements, we should continue the spirit of Lei Feng, summon up the "three forces", blow the "Lei Feng whistle", solve the "difficulties and worries", and smoothly serve the "last meter" of the masses.

  We will forge ahead with "tenacity" and stick to the original aspiration of the People's Republic of China. "Human life is limited, but service to the people is unlimited. We should devote our limited life to unlimited service to the people," Lei Feng wrote in his diary. Grass roots cadres who are the "front line" of the party and the country and serve the masses must put themselves in a correct position, maintain the mentality of "suffering losses is good", "sink down", often go to the masses' homes to have a look, go deep into the fields, "face to face", "close to heart" and "get together" with the masses, and form a "close family", so as to exchange their "tiredness" for "happiness" of the masses.

  Gather the strength of "drilling" and improve business ability. Comrade Lei Feng has successively worked as a correspondent, tractor driver, and auto soldier, but no matter what his occupation, he is diligent in learning and hard working to do his job well. As a grass-roots cadre, if he does not have enough knowledge reserves and excellent ability to do things, he will be "busy" without any effort, and "busy" will be ineffective. We must always keep the "empty cup" mentality, always keep the "learning from experience" mentality, use the nail driving spirit of "squeezing" and "drilling", strengthen learning, take the grass-roots front line as the "training ground" for training skills and strong abilities, humbly worship the masses as teachers, and earnestly ask the masses for advice, so as to transform the wisdom drawn from the masses into food for promoting self-development.

Cultivate the strength of "hardship" and strengthen the pragmatic style. Knives should be sharpened on stones, and people should practice in work. Grass roots cadres should take the initiative to bear some heavy pressure and sweat at the grass-roots level, so that the "Lei Feng Spirit" can be sublimated in the field, and constantly improve quality and increase talent. We should earnestly start from small things to solve the problems of the masses, and make selfless contributions.
