In order to further carry out waste classification work, create a good atmosphere for waste classification in the community, improve the residents' awareness of waste classification, and practice the concept of environmental protection and low-carbon life, in the afternoon of May 17, Baijin Community, Yuncheng Street, Baiyun District, Guiyang, together with Guizhou Business School, carried out a waste classification publicity activity in the community with the theme of "volunteer service · love transmission". A total of 14 people participated in this activity.

At the beginning of the activity, through studying the relevant policies and regulations such as the Regulations of Guiyang City on the Classification and Management of Urban Domestic Waste and analyzing some vivid examples in life, we deeply realized the importance of waste classification for environmental protection and sustainable development.

Then, the community grid staff and volunteers used simple words to popularize the knowledge about what garbage classification is, how to do it well, and how to put garbage in correctly to the residents by means of home publicity of garbage classification knowledge, distribution of brochures in the community, etc., advocating that the residents start from daily life, adhere to garbage classification, and make garbage classification become everyone's living habit. Guide residents to start from daily life, start from small things, strive to be the initiator and participant of waste classification, and participate in the work of domestic waste classification.

This activity further popularized the knowledge of garbage classification to community residents, enhanced their awareness of garbage classification, formed a good habit of garbage classification, and advocated the residents to consciously maintain public health. In the next step, the community will continue to carry out various forms of garbage classification volunteer service publicity activities, constantly guide volunteers and residents to consciously classify, actively classify, and persistently classify, so as to make garbage classification from slogan to action, from request to consciousness, and contribute to the construction of low-carbon environmental protection ecological community.
