My master, Peng Zemin, is the village director of Ganhe Village and a famous planter in Baotian Town. At 57, you can call him Lao Peng.
In 2003, Lao Peng began to develop ginger planting in Ganhe Village. He was steadfast, hardworking and hardworking, and soon made the cause prosperous. Three years later, he also built his own ginger processing plant.
In 2014, Lao Peng began to work as a village cadre in our village, driving people around to plant ginger.
However, no one's life will be smooth. In 2015, the price of ginger continued to decline, and Lao Peng had to start planning a new way out.
He went to Chongqing alone to investigate the market and carefully studied which crops were in great demand and lasting. After many investigations, he not only found customers, but also brought back the seeds of my "predecessor" - Yanjiao 425. The customer made it clear that as long as the pepper of this variety is used, the output will be as much as possible.
Excited, Lao Peng hurried back to the village and told the villagers the good news, but unexpectedly he met with a rebuke.
Because this variety has not been planted before, few people are willing to plant it even if it is free of charge.
"Then I will breed Miao myself and plant it for you!" stubborn old Peng said in front of everyone.

In this way, Lao Peng raised more than 600 mu of pepper seedlings, turned the land around from the villagers, and began to plant colorful pepper 425 in large areas.
In the following years, Lao Peng's way of growing pepper was like riding a roller coaster.
At the beginning, the people saw that the chilies he planted were profitable, and they began to plant with him. But later he felt that the pepper was too small to harvest, so he was unwilling to plant it. It was not easy to get through their ideological work, but many people were scared away because of the disease of pepper seedlings.
"Since many pepper seedlings will suffer from pathological changes due to the extreme weather after the middle of August in the lunar calendar, I will switch to varieties with earlier harvest time." Lao Peng came to this conclusion after many sleepless nights of thinking.
In this way, I came to Baotian Town and became a hot topic to drive people to increase their income.

Because of my good quality, strong resistance to disease and high yield, I soon won the favor of people around me. Only Lao Peng's family planted 302 mu. In the whole village, we can be seen on more than 600 mu of land, and my brothers and sisters are planted in the land of more than 500 households.
Now, at the beginning of July in the lunar calendar, orders from Sichuan, Chongqing and Yunnan are pouring in. Lao Peng and other pepper growers are busy, but they can't stop smiling.
Many people who had been rebellious before, when they heard that the pepper seedlings were produced by Old Peng, they were willing to buy them and wait for the harvest.
Next, Lao Peng is going to make us into bad chilies, so that we can go farther and more people's tables.
