In order to carry forward the spirit of Lei Feng and make it shine more brightly in the new era, on March 5, Huaxi District University for the Elderly held the first class of the 2024 spring semester with the theme of "Learning from Lei Feng, Civilized Practice, I Act", and more than 50 elderly students and staff participated in the study.

Zhou Guoqin, president of the University for the Elderly, told the students about Lei Feng's spirit and deeds, and organized the students to watch the propaganda video "Everyone can be Lei Feng's successor" produced by CCTV.

Through learning and watching, senior students said that no matter how the times change, Lei Feng's spirit will never go out of style. Although we are getting older, we will not grow old to learn from Lei Feng's spirit. We should be practitioners and disseminators of Lei Feng's spirit.

In the next step, Huaxi District University for the Aged will deeply grasp the era connotation of Lei Feng's spirit, guide the elderly students and staff to set up lofty ideals and pursue, practice the core socialist values, integrate learning from Lei Feng into daily life and make it a regular activity, and contribute to the realization of Chinese modernization.
