It is reported that Budanov was quoted by the News Office of the Intelligence General Administration of the Ministry of National Defense of Uzbekistan on the "Telegraph" social platform as saying: "Our action in the Black Sea is to prepare for major action in Crimea."

The General Intelligence Agency of the Ministry of National Defense of Ukraine said that all actions of the Ukrainian army in the Black Sea region from 2022 to 2023 were "linked by the same strategic consideration", and the attempt of the Ukrainian army to attack the left bank of the Dnieper River in Kherson State was also for the same purpose.

According to the report, Ukrainian television channels recently broadcast a film about the "successful" operations of the Ukrainian armed forces and military intelligence services in this region.
