Tass News Agency reported earlier on February 25 that early voting for the Russian presidential election had started, and some voters in remote areas with poor transportation began to vote for the president from the same day.

Voter groups that can participate in early voting include hunters, fishermen, lumberjacks, miners, lighthouse and nature reserve workers, border guards in remote areas, voters sailing on ships during the official presidential election vote, and voters living abroad. Voter groups far from the polling station can also vote in advance.
