Nanming District, where Hebin Street is located, is the first district and county with a hundred billion yuan level in Guiyang, and Hebin Street is its core area. Yuan Shu introduced that in 2023, Riverside Street will continue to promote urban renewal action and further improve the community functions through urban renewal. Through the reconstruction of underground pipe network, new parking spaces, the construction of micro fire stations, the planning of new community greening, new elderly care cultural nurseries and other projects, the living environment and quality of life of residents have been improved. Last year, in the process of urban renewal of Ruihua Lane, Riverside Street, a unit resident objected to the renewal plan. Yuan Shu learned from the on-site communication with the staff that the house in this unit was built in the 1980s, and the sewer pipe of the toilet is cast iron pipe, and almost every house has leakage. "The residents saw the public list of urban renewal projects. All the projects were environmental renovation of the community. The problem of sewer leakage was not solved, so the residents objected."  

Finding the crux, Riverside Street will have a working direction. "We contacted the Chenggeng Center at the first time, and then through consultation and the development of a feasibility plan, the street immediately reached an agreement with the residents of the unit, and jointly signed an agreement on the transformation of cast iron pipes in the family, replacing all indoor cast iron pipes with plastic sealed pipes." Yuan Shu said that the new projects not only solved the old problems faced by residents for a long time, but also complied with the urban renewal policy, It also brought closer relations with the masses and was praised by the residents.

Yuan Shu told reporters that her Nanming District is now defined as "the core of the city and the soul of the old city". The popular Qingyun Market in 2023 is a typical case of the revitalization of idle assets. "While giving new business cards to urban renewal, it also inspires us to rediscover the cultural context. At present, Nanming District is focusing on the excavation of the local No. 1 Scholar culture. Last year, through urban renewal, it created the derivative of Caozhuanyuan Street."
