Under the guidance of the national ecological civilization strategy of "green water and green mountains are golden mountains and silver mountains", Guizhou Province, with its remarkable practical achievements and a series of remarkable data performance, vividly interprets the strong vitality and far-reaching significance of this concept.In recent years, Guizhou has seized the historic opportunity brought by the GF 2022 [2] document, unswervingly implemented the "two mountains theory", and realized the double leap of ecological protection and economic growth.

According to statistics, since the in-depth implementation of the "Two Mountains Theory" policy, by 2023, Guizhou Province has made every effort to promote afforestation and forest protection projects. The forest coverage rate of the whole province has exceeded 63%, and the newly increased forest coverage area is equivalent to hundreds of square kilometers, equivalent to the total area of hundreds of Hangzhou West Lakes.This achievement has greatly enhanced the ability of Guizhou Province to fix carbon and release oxygen, and has made substantial and positive contributions to the response to global climate change.
