Recently, Waima Wine Delivery reached strategic cooperation with Guizhou Xijiu. The two sides will deepen cooperation from supply optimization, user experience, marketing and other aspects to jointly help Xi Jiu become the first 100 million liquor brand in the platform.


Waima Wine Delivery is a beverage instant retail brand under Meituan, established in 2021. Starting from Guangdong, Waima Wine Delivery has developed rapidly with the experience of directly picking authentic drinks and delivering them in an average of 15 minutes. In 2023, the transaction volume will grow by 600% year on year. At present, Waima Wine Delivery has covered more than 40 cities in six provinces and cities, including Guangdong, Sichuan, Chongqing, Hunan, Shaanxi and Beijing, with more than 400 stores, becoming the top brand of domestic liquor chains. It is expected that more than 1000 stores will be opened nationwide this year.


In 2022, Guizhou Xijiu began to cooperate with Waima to deliver wine, and its sales grew rapidly. In 2023, the transaction volume of Xi Liquor at Waima Wine Delivery Platform increased by more than six times compared with 2022.


On the basis of two years' cooperation, the two sides will formally reach strategic cooperation in 2024.

According to the 2023 White Paper on Instant Retail Liquor, from 2020 to 2022, the scale of instant retail liquor market will grow by 554%, much higher than the overall growth of the category.
