On August 16, the hoisting of the first steel frame of the Kaiyang cogeneration and supporting project of Guiyang Kaiyang Yangtai Thermal Power Co., Ltd. was successfully completed, marking the official start of the construction of the main plant area and the key breakthrough of the project construction.

Kaiyang cogeneration and supporting project is the first centralized heating project built in Guizhou Province and a provincial key project supporting the construction of Kaiyang Industrial Park.

In order to rapidly promote the project construction, the construction permit of Kaiyang cogeneration and supporting projects will be handled by stages and zones, and the construction will be started by stages according to the design progress, construction drawing review and construction needs. After the final stage of construction drawing review and related preparations were completed in August this year, the construction permit of the main plant area was started and completed, creating favorable conditions for the project to start construction. 

The main plant area of Kaiyang Thermal Power and Auxiliary Project covers 50591.65 square meters, mainly including air compressor room, dust remover support foundation, urea workshop, desulfurization complex building 110kv GIS building, boiler make-up water treatment workshop and laboratory building, industrial wastewater treatment workshop, truck unloading shed, 1 # transfer station, 2 # transfer station, dry coal shed, etc. are the core areas of production, which undertake the main functions of raw material supply, steam and power production.
