In the new era and new journey, young cadres should carefully grasp the balance between quantity and quality, personality and diversity, short-term and long-term.
Grasp the relationship between quantity and quality. The product is stable in quantity and excellent in quality. Build a high-quality, professional and young cadre team that firmly implements Xi Jinping's thought of socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, conforms to the standards of good cadres for the new era, is loyal, clean and responsible, and has sufficient numbers and vitality. Quantity is the basis of quality, and the number of outstanding young cadres must be guaranteed. At the same time, we attach great importance to the systematic training of cadres, from the source training, tracking training to the whole process training. We will carry out thorough investigation of outstanding young cadres in an all-round way, establish a regular identification mechanism through accurate identification, and select and use young cadres who can do things well, have potential, and are good at taking responsibility. According to the characteristics and advantages of cadres, we will establish a pool of outstanding young cadres by category and follow the dynamic management principle of "strict entry and wide exit".
Handle the relationship between personality and diversity. Every inch has its own strength. In the training of young cadres, we should not only respect their individuality and encourage them to give play to their professional expertise, but also pursue diversified development and shape compound and versatile talents. As a young cadre in the new era, he should not only study his profession as meticulously as using a microscope to practice "embroidery skills", but also look at the whole situation as if using a telescope and be concerned about "the big country". Fully consider the personality characteristics, knowledge structure and experience of young cadres, and rely on high-quality resources such as the Party School to deeply publicize the Party's theories, lines, principles and policies. Develop personalized training plans and carefully organize various seminars, refresher courses and training courses. Focus on diversified cultivation, extensively explore and cultivate outstanding young cadres from different fronts, fields, industries and levels, so that they can practice and grow in exchange practice, broaden their horizons and increase their talents.
Handle the relationship between short-term and long-term. If the training of young cadres does not go through the precipitation of time and practice, it is difficult for them to grow into pillars even if they are gifted "good seedlings". We should set up the concept of "bearing the burden early and becoming a talent early", and have the courage to place young cadres in a difficult and complex environment, give them heavy responsibilities, and let them grow up in challenges. Through tracking training, temporary job training and other forms, we can help young cadres fill their gaps, improve their ability, and strengthen their muscles and bones in practice. Strictly compare the "three distinctions", combine strict management with encouragement of responsibility, and encourage cadres to take responsibility.
