On the morning of January 24, the second session of the 14th People's Congress of Guizhou Province was opened. As the inheritor of Miao handicrafts in Zhijin County, Yang Mei has been committed to inheriting and developing the Miao batik embroidery skills in Guizhou. She is well aware that this skill is an important part of Guizhou's national culture, and also an important means for local embroiderers to earn a living. However, with the changes in the market and the upgrading of consumer demand, the high-end embroidery market is gradually emerging, and many embroidery women are frustrated by their lack of skills.

In response to this problem, Yang Mei proposed to strengthen the training of Xiuniang's batik embroidery skills. She hoped that the government would strengthen the training of Xiuniang, especially the training of high-end fabric embroidery skills. She firmly believes that through training, embroiderers can not only improve their skills and meet market demand, but also increase their income and inject new vitality into rural revitalization.

Yang Mei, the representative, has a deep understanding of the potential and enthusiasm of women embroiderers. Although many embroiderers are not highly educated, they are dexterous and have a strong interest in embroidery skills. Yang Mei actively encouraged them to continue to learn and improve their skills, combine tradition with modernity, and weave a bright future with embroidery needles in their hands.

Looking forward to the future, Yang Mei has made plans for the next step. She hopes to lead the embroiderers around to closely combine traditional culture with rural revitalization, so that embroidery skills can become a new engine for rural development. Contribute to rural prosperity and development by improving skills, meeting market demand and increasing income.
