On June 18, 2015, the Changsha Guiyang section of Shanghai Kunming High speed Railway was opened.

On December 28, 2016, Guiyang Kunming Section of Shanghai Kunming High speed Railway was opened.

This high-speed railway with the longest east-west route mileage, the highest speed level and the most provinces in China has been put into operation, which has realized the full coverage of high-speed bullet trains in the country, greatly shortened the space and time distance between Guizhou and the outside world, and accelerated the pace of Guizhou's integration into the Yangtze River Delta Economic Zone. Guizhou has become an important node of the "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway network.

Zhang Xia, the conductor of Shanghai Kunming High speed Railway, will retire in September this year. Guizhou High speed Railway has been in operation for 9 years. She is the first generation of "action sister" of Guizhou High speed Railway, and also the first retired person of Guizhou High speed Railway.

Over the past 30 years, she has been on duty on small and slow trains, green Pipu trains, fast trains and multiple units, and witnessed and participated in the rapid development and changes of Guizhou railway.

The old Shanghai Kunming Railway, which is parallel to the Shanghai Kunming High speed Railway, is a combination of the original Shanghai Hangzhou Railway, Zhejiang Jiangxi Railway, Hunan Guizhou Railway and Guiyang Kunming Railway, providing ordinary speed passenger and freight services.

The K5640/5639 "slow train", which runs through the minority areas in southeast Guizhou, closely connects the scattered Dong villages in Miao Township, and becomes a "mobile market" for the people along the way, carrying hope to spring.

Hu Guichuan, the "truck leader", opened up the supply and demand channels between the villagers and the market through the "slow train", constantly extended the service content, and helped the people along the line to make the day more prosperous.

In the earth shaking changes of Guizhou railway, the era of "fast travel and slow travel" is coming.
