People under the bridge ② | Bian Zhuo: "Wild geese" return from the bridge

Mount Wumeng is towering and Wujiang River is rolling. In 2001, the Liuguang River Bridge on the Guiyang Bijie Highway crossed the tributary of Wujiang River and connected both banks of Guiyang Bijie. It became an important channel for Bijie to connect Guiyang, accelerating the economic development of northwest Guizhou. Bian Zhuo, a homecoming and entrepreneurial farmer living in Supu Town, Qianxi City, came into being as the times require.

In the mid-1990s, Bijie was an area "not along the border, not along the coast, not along the river" and "not along the railway, not by water, not by air".

At that time, Bian Zhuo had a deep understanding of the difficulty of traveling: "At that time, the transportation in his hometown was inconvenient, and it took two days to go back and forth to Guiyang to purchase goods, and the profit was low and time-consuming."

So before 2001, Bian Zhuo was determined to go out and develop. He thought that this was the best way for the local people.

After years of development abroad, Bian Zhuo, who has worked abroad for more than 10 years, saw that the traffic here began to change and decided to return to his hometown to start his own business, moving Zhejiang's blockboard factory to Supu Town, Qianxi City.

"After the Guiyang Bizhou Highway is open, it only takes us two hours to go to Guiyang to purchase goods, which greatly reduces the transportation cost." Bian Zhuo said that because of the convenient transportation and the rich resources of catalpa wood plates in Guizhou, the woodworking plates produced in his factory are in short supply, and are exported to Beijing, Shanghai, Shandong, Jiangxi and other places.

When it comes to the choice of returning home to start a business, Bian Zhuo said, "It's right to go home to start a business." Bridgestone and Lutong, he started with the dream of returning home to start a business. He can not only take care of the elderly and children at home, but also drive people to find jobs nearby to increase income and become rich, which is much better than working outside.
