Jinfeng Wujiang River Bridge is one of the control projects of Guiyang – Gulin Expressway via Jinsha. It is the first super wide six lane suspension bridge constructed with prefabricated parallel wire strands in Guizhou Province. The total length of the bridge is 1473.5 meters, with a main span of 650 meters. Gravity anchors are used on both sides. In order to solve the problem of "fighting" between the anchor prestressed pipe and the shaped steel support, technicians innovatively used BIM technology to position in advance.

 

Limited by the terrain of the construction site, the bridge adopts the technology of steel truss beam without pre assembly, which provides a new scheme for the construction of bridges in Guizhou mountainous areas, can greatly improve the assembly progress of steel truss beams, and at the same time, solves the problem that steel truss beam assembly requires a lot of site. Instead of the "1+1", "2+1", "3+1" and other modes of steel truss girder assembly in the past, it is directly assembled in a separate segment, which requires higher precision for steel truss girder processing in the manufacturer and steel truss girder segment assembly.

 

"If you want to say what is the characteristic of this bridge, it is the excellent quality. We have built a century old project!" According to Qin Guifang, the chief engineer of the bridge project, there are 650000 sets of bolt holes in the Jinfeng Wujiang River Bridge. During the construction, there is no error in the assembly and docking of 650000 sets of bolt holes, vividly demonstrating the accuracy of bridge construction in Guizhou.
