Recently, at the construction site of Huajiang Canyon Bridge, the two main towers of the bridge stand on both sides of the canyon. Workers are busy welding construction to steadily advance the remaining construction progress.

 

Huajiang Canyon Bridge is located at the junction of Wuli Village, Huajiang Town, Guanling Autonomous County, Anshun City, and Huajiang Village, Pingjie Township, Zhenfeng County, Qianxinan Prefecture, across the Beipan River. The total length of the bridge is 2893.6 meters, and the vertical height of the bridge deck from the river surface is 625 meters. After completion, it will become the first span of mountain canyon and the highest bridge in the world.

 

As a key control project of Lu'an Expressway, the completion of Huajiang Canyon Bridge will be of great significance to promote the construction of a demonstration province in the western region of Guizhou, improve the highway network structure of the province, optimize the longitudinal channels in the western region of Guizhou, and build a regional modern comprehensive transportation system.
