On August 24, the "three centers and one base" jointly built by the People's Government of Guizhou Province and Tongji University was officially listed in the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Park of Huaxi University Town, marking the official use of the "three centers and one base".

It is reported that the "three centers and one base" consists of Tongji University Guizhou Rural Revitalization Research Center, Tongji University Guizhou Mountain Architecture Design and Urbanization Promotion Center, Tongji University Guizhou Science and Technology Achievement Transformation Center, and Tongji University Guizhou Practice Base.

Tongji University, as a national comprehensive, research-oriented and international university, has strong strength and prominent advantages. As a national ecological civilization pilot zone, big data comprehensive pilot zone and inland open economy pilot zone, Guizhou has a good momentum of development and huge potential. In order to deepen the cooperation between Guizhou Province and Tongji University and achieve greater win-win results, the People's Government of Guizhou Province signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Tongji University.

According to the agreement, based on the principle of "complementary advantages, mutual benefit and win-win results, expanded cooperation and common development", the two sides jointly built the Guizhou Rural Revitalization Research Center of Tongji University, to provide technical advisory services for Guizhou to promote the implementation of rural revitalization strategy, rural industrial revolution, rural residential environment improvement, optimize village layout, agricultural non-point source pollution prevention, rural social governance, etc;

Jointly build Guizhou Mountain Architecture Design and Urbanization Promotion Center of Tongji University, carry out research on major scientific issues, policy issues and management issues facing new urbanization with mountain characteristics in Guizhou Province, and carry out project cooperation and consulting services in urban and rural construction, urban and regional governance, smart city construction, urban planning and other projects;

The Guizhou Transformation Center for Scientific and Technological Achievements of Tongji University will be set up in Guizhou, giving priority to the transformation of scientific and technological achievements to Guizhou, and the test work of existing scientific and technological achievements will be carried out in Guizhou;

Establish Guizhou Practice Base of Tongji University in Guizhou, regularly organize students to carry out social practice and teaching practice in Guizhou, and recommend outstanding graduates to work and start businesses in Guizhou.
