This year, we will celebrate the 75th anniversary of the People's Republic of China, the 70th anniversary of the founding of the National People's Congress and the 75th anniversary of the founding of the CPPCC. The steps of the times become more sonorous.

Seventy years ago, when reporting on the first session of the first National People's Congress, a reporter wrote: "They came from the lathe, from the fields, from the mines, from the coast guards... They were discussing national affairs with their beloved party and government leaders."

This is the common feeling of the delegates who have had face-to-face exchanges with General Secretary Xi Jinping.
