During the two sessions this year, Stefanovic received a written interview from Xinhuanet. She said, "The two sessions of the NPC and CPPCC are a window to understand China's development situation, development goals and foreign policies. They are not only a major event for China, but also of great significance to the world."

Stefanovic said that she has been closely following the relevant reports of the NPC and CPPCC, and learned how to further strengthen bilateral cooperation from diplomatic related news; Perceive China's future development vitality and discover new opportunities for cooperation between the two countries from economic news.

Stefanovich believes that China's high-quality development to promote Chinese style modernization is worth learning from, especially China's great achievements in eliminating absolute poverty in an all-round way, and has also made great contributions to the world's poverty reduction efforts. She believed that under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative, the two countries would further deepen cooperation in various fields. She said, "I think the prospect of the Belt and Road Initiative is very bright, because it is based on mutual benefit and win-win results and promotes better cooperation among countries and regions around the world."

For example, she said that the reconstruction project of the Hungarian Serbian railway connecting Budapest, the capital of Hungary, and Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, was a tangible result of the joint construction of the "Belt and Road" to benefit the local people. The section from Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, to Novi Sad, the north central city of Serbia (Beno section) of the Hungarian Serbian Railway will be put into operation in March 2022, with a maximum operating speed of 200 kilometers per hour.

Stefanovic also mentioned that the signing of a free trade agreement between China and Serbia in October 2023 has brought new important impetus to bilateral economic and trade cooperation. With the signing of the agreement, the two countries have not only opened direct flights, but also significantly improved the level of agricultural trade. China's influence in renewable energy, artificial intelligence, high-tech and other fields has attracted worldwide attention. The future cooperation between the two countries in these fields is very promising.
