In order to promote the thorough investigation of key cases, the national "anti pornography and anti illegal" office continued to increase its efforts in listing and supervising 308 major cases throughout the year. Among them, 239 were listed jointly with the Ministry of Public Security, 62 were listed jointly with the National Copyright Administration, the Ministry of Public Security, the Supreme People's Procuratorate and other departments, and 7 were listed separately.

The national "anti pornography and anti illegal" office reported that in 2019, the listed supervision of "anti pornography and anti illegal" cases showed the characteristics of "large quantity, high quality, and full chain attack". The number of listed supervisors reached a record high. Network cases account for about 78%, closely following the current situation that the Internet is the main battlefield of "combating pornography and illegal publications". Among them, in order to promote the severe crackdown on online pornographic information, the National "Anti pornography and Anti illegal" Office jointly or separately listed 149 cases of online dissemination of pornographic information, involving various platforms and mobile applications such as webcasts, social groups, online literature, online performances, forum websites, e-commerce, etc. The case handling department has arrested 1249 suspects. For example, Hubei Macheng cracked the "March 01" Internet pornographic live broadcast case, arrested 22 suspects across the border, and knocked out the "Huahua" live broadcast application (APP) with 900000 registered members.

In terms of promoting and cracking down on illegal publishing and copyright infringement and piracy activities, we have listed and supervised more than 40 cases of "source clearing" and 89 cases of illegal publishing and copyright infringement. For example, Beijing Dingyue Company was suspected of copyright infringement, Jiangsu Huai'an "2.22" mega sales of infringing and pirated publications and many other major cases. Significant progress was made in the investigation and handling of these cases, and the social response was good.

In terms of protecting the healthy growth of minors, seven cases involving the dissemination of child pornography information were listed for supervision, and the requirements for special crackdowns were strengthened to resolutely and thoroughly investigate. For example, in Xiangcheng, Henan Province, Cui Moumou, who organized many pornographic performances for minors, was arrested after he was suspected of spreading pornographic materials for profit. Lu'an, Anhui, investigated and handled the "August 19" video case of sexual assault on children, seized more than 2000 pornographic videos and 8000 pictures involving minors, and sentenced the three principal offenders to more than eight years of imprisonment.

In addition, in terms of regulating the order of press, publication and communication, 16 cases of extortion by fake media and journalists, such as Shaanxi Weinan "9.18" fake journalist gang fraud, Jiangsu Suqian "4.26" illegal operation of online water army, were listed and supervised. In order to promote the special rectification of online literature and urge relevant enterprises to implement their main responsibilities, the first batch of administrative cases including the case of spreading pornographic online publications on Beijing's "Jinjiang Literature City" and other platforms were listed and supervised.

The person in charge of the National "Anti pornography and Anti illegal" Office said that all departments around the country need to continue to attach great importance to the listing and supervision of cases, further strengthen the investigation and handling, dig deep into the source of crime, thoroughly investigate the chain of interests, and resolutely crack down on criminals in accordance with the law, without mercy or leniency. We should fully translate the results of handling cases into the social governance results of "combating pornography and illegal publications", and strive to create a clear cyberspace and a good social and cultural environment for the people.
