On December 13, when the police on Shangcheng Road in Zhengzhou were checking the office buildings under their jurisdiction, a suspicious company with the name of "online shop agent operation" attracted their attention.

In addition, most of its employees are young people. They mainly use computers to release some information to customers. Their main business is to open online stores on behalf of others. According to these characteristics, there are many similarities with our early (detected) telecom fraud method of opening online stores to collect fees.

After further screening, the police found that the company basically used "online store for operation" as a bait to swindle those who wanted to open online stores but had no experience. The group has a strict organizational structure, clear division of labor between departments, and interlocking routine design. First, it publishes advertisements through the Internet, claiming that it can open and operate an online store for only 680 yuan.

Du Dan, leader of the second squadron of the case investigation team of the Shangcheng Road Branch of Zhengzhou Public Security Bureau: they publicized through the website that they could make a lot of money by opening Taobao stores on behalf of the victims, lured them to watch, left their contact information after watching, and then had a special operator to contact potential customers and actively promote their services. It is said that this service can be divided into several levels, and can earn a lot of money through online stores. This is a way to entice people to fall for it.

Once the victim is hooked, the suspect will set up a virtual online store for the victim through technical means, and then swipe empty orders or traffic to the online store, so that the victim mistakenly thinks that the online store has achievements. Then, the suspect takes the opportunity to recommend the so-called 1980 yuan, 3980 yuan and 5980 yuan packages to the victim, so that the victim believes that the more expensive the package, the higher the income. In fact, these so-called online stores are basically empty shells, and can not be searched online. The gang has neither operational capacity nor supply of goods needed to open online stores. After mastering this evidence, on December 16, the Shangcheng Road police arrested these suspicious companies, brought back 37 suspects at the scene, and initially verified that the amount involved was more than 300000 yuan.
