Xinhua News, Beijing, December 21 (Reporter Yang Na) Tang Daosheng, senior executive vice president of Tencent and president of cloud and smart industry business group, disclosed at the 2019 Tencent Cloud Start Industry Ecological Annual Conference on December 20 that Tencent will increase its investment in industrial Internet ecological construction in 2020.

It is reported that up to now, Tencent has more than 7000 industrial ecological partners, covering channels, services, consulting, research and development and other fields. Tencent and its industrial ecological partners have cumulatively introduced more than 100 joint solutions in 19 industries, including government affairs, medical care, industry, retail, transportation and finance, and jointly served more than 200000 customers.

Among them, Tencent's cloud start industrial ecological platform has facilitated more interaction between ecological partners and Tencent through the dual way of "capital+acceleration". Tang Daosheng said that the business volume we completed with our partners accounted for 28% of the overall business volume of Tencent Cloud. At present, the overall valuation of members of Tencent Yunqi Industrial Ecological Platform has exceeded 200 billion yuan.

Relevant reports from McKinsey show that the industrial Internet is the biggest development opportunity for the Internet in the next 10 years. Tang Daosheng said that embracing the industrial Internet is Tencent's long-term strategy for the future. In 2020, Tencent will accelerate the ecological construction of industrial Internet in an all-round way, continue to increase investment, work together with partners to build a supporting platform for industrial digitalization, and continue to explore and support ecological partners with high growth and high synergy value.

"In terms of industrial investment, we will continue to focus on three directions: industry solution ecology, technology platform ecology and underlying infrastructure. In the industry solution ecosystem, we will further increase our support for the SaaS application ecosystem, strengthen our attention to cutting-edge technological innovation in the field of infrastructure, explore overseas enterprise service markets, and continue to build a complete industrial Internet ecosystem. " Tang Daosheng said.

It is reported that at present, there are AI accelerators and SaaS accelerators focusing on technology in the accelerator matrix of Tencent industry. Its first WeCity accelerator focusing on industry ecology officially launched its second round test on the 21st, looking for 30 high-quality partners to jointly create solutions for future cities. In 2020, Tencent will also focus on the field of travel and medical care.
